Now, what I am really saying in that jargon, is.....
This is MY blog. I just blog about my life, my kiddos, my relationships, my experiences, and resources I find. I blog about stuff I like. Even before I received any sponsorship, etc. I was linking to networks, affiliated companies, and simply organizations I liked or that I thought had some relevance for the content I was aiming for: ie. parenting, and more specifically single parenting.
However, when a company does approach me and ask me to blog about their product/site/company, I may do it. I may accept cash (woo-hoo!), products, coupons, trips, tickets or ANYTHING I deem worthy. I also receive books for review on a regular basis. I am not paid for these book reviews but will indicate in the post I received the book for the purpose of review. If I end up hating the product or the company (or the book), I’ll tell you.
Also as a big hint, if I receive something from a company, I will include, "I got this from such and such company or website."
